I purchased a Massey Ferguson MF 3 square hay baler. The sellers said it worked and I did not know enough about them to do due diligence. Now, I have a baler. Mf 124 v mf 224 - posted in Machinery: G,day from Australia I currently own a MF 124 baler and need to up grade because she is worn out I have the chance to buy a MF 224 baler in good order can any one tell me how much better the 224 would be over the 124. Also down here New Hollands are much more the chosen baler with 317s the most popular are they better than the 224 MF. Thank you for any.

From buckets to showroom quality! I bought an old Ford 9N last October that was more than a labor of love - although the hood, engine and transmission compartments were laid out, the rest was in 5 gallon oil buckets! I knew this would be the perfect project for my son and I. I bought a service and parts manual from SSB and that Ford became a 6 month learning project for us. We overhauled the engine, reworked the brakes, rewired the electrical system, fixed the cooling system and found original paint and decals, with parts from SSB. It might have been faster to buy a ready-built tractor, but I wouldn't trade that time for anything!
